A residential house belonging to Padmavati in Thorebailu near Konanduru, Thirthahalli taluk, was completely destroyed in a fire caused by a short circuit. Valuable items including 15,000 cash, jewelry, 150 kg of areca nut, 10 quintals of paddy, and important documents were reduced to ashes. Firefighters and locals attempted to extinguish the flames, but nothing could be saved. The owner was reportedly at a neighbor's house during the incident.
