A migrant laborer named Bandhu Patra from Purmunda village in Deogarh district went missing while returning home from Chennai. He had informed his wife about being unwell and lacking funds, after which she sent him 1000 rupees via PhonePe on June 20th. Since then, he has not reached home and remains untraceable. His wife, Menaka, filed a formal complaint at the Riamal police station on June 27th.
