IRCTC has implemented an AI-based monitoring system in over 800 base kitchens to ensure food quality and hygiene for railway passengers. With 2,394 AI-enabled CCTV cameras connected to a central war room in New Delhi, the system detects 9 types of hygiene violations, including staff attire and the presence of pests. If violations are not rectified, alerts are escalated, leading to action within two hours.
