The annual festival of Goddess Maa Ramayanamms Thakurani in Chatrapur, Ganjam, is being celebrated with great fervor. The city is filled with a spiritual atmosphere as the deity visits various streets to accept offerings. A major highlight of the festival is the traditional 'Bagha Besha' (Tiger Costume), where devotees paint their bodies and wear tiger masks to perform dances to the rhythm of 'Changu' drums. Numerous devotees, including Kunal Senapati, performed this dance to fulfill long-standing vows, attracting large crowds and showcasing Odisha's unique folk culture.
