Massive corruption in MGNREGA projects has been reported in Kamaraghat village, Kalahandi district. Despite a 9 lakh INR allocation for a road project and over 2.90 lakh INR already withdrawn, no actual work has been done on the ground. It is alleged that Junior Engineer Pratap Sahu, along with some influential locals, misappropriated funds using fake muster rolls and forged documents.
