The HRPC has launched an investigation into a custodial death case in Kabisuryanagar, Ganjam district. A DSP-led team questioned the deceased's family members, who alleged that the victim was picked up by police for recording a video of police misconduct. Following the incident and allegations of police pressure to change statements, 26 police personnel from Kabisuryanagar police station and Balichhai outpost have been transferred.
