TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee was allegedly attacked by a mob in Kolkata while going to meet a party worker. Protesters threw eggs and stones at him and shouted slogans of 'chor-chor'. Security personnel managed to rescue him from the tense situation by making him wear a helmet for safety.
