The Supreme Court of India has dismissed a fresh petition against Vantara regarding wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. A bench of Justices Prashant Kumar Mishra and N.V. Anjaria ruled that the allegations had already been thoroughly investigated by a Special Investigation Team (SIT). The court noted that animal transfers from countries like UAE, Brazil, and South Africa were done legally with valid documentation and CITES permits. Recognizing Vantara's conservation efforts in Jamnagar, the court stated that removing animals from their safe environment would be an act of cruelty.
