Ramachandra Sahu, an 82-year-old retired teacher from Bargarh, Odisha, has dedicated his life to planting trees after being inspired by a quote from the Ramayana. Since 1988, he and his wife have planted and nurtured trees across over 20 kilometers of roadsides, treating them as their children.
