The objective is prevention, not sensationalism. 2. Police Media & Public Communication Wing Establish a dedicated professional media division within the Police Department consisting of police officers, media professionals, legal experts, filmmakers, psychologists, and digital communication specialists. 👉 Its responsibilities would include: - Producing awareness videos. - Issuing fact-based updates during emergencies. - Countering misinformation and fake news. - Conducting public education campaigns. - Publishing safety advisories and crime prevention tips. 3. Dedicated Police Public Information Channel Launch a 24×7 Police Information Channel available through television, YouTube, social media, mobile apps, and radio. 👉 Content may include: - Crime prevention awareness. - Cybercrime alerts. - Missing persons. - Traffic updates. - Disaster warnings. - Emergency advisories. - Success stories of police investigations. - Public legal awareness programmes. - Community policing initiatives. 4.
