Due to heavy rains in Odisha caused by a low-pressure system, two cattle herders and over 30 cattle are stranded in the middle of the Lanth River near Saintala in Balangir district. The water level rose suddenly to about 4 feet while they were grazing cattle. The fire brigade has reached the spot and started a rescue operation.
