Former Punjab Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal appeared before a Chandigarh district court in a sacrilege-related case. Additional Sessions Judge Harinder Sidhu directed the public prosecutor to submit a status report clarifying which cases have been investigated and which remain pending. The court also ordered the accused to file their written arguments on record.
