A delegation of prominent Sikh leaders and scholars met with Punjab and Haryana Governor Gulab Chand Kataria to submit a memorandum addressed to the Union Home Minister. The memorandum demands a dialogue with the central government to resolve long-pending religious, legal, and social issues, including the release of Sikh political prisoners, SGPC elections, and an expansion of the Anand Marriage Act.
