The Health Department in Amritsar has launched the 'Har Shukarvar Dengue Te Vaar' campaign to combat the rising threat of dengue before the monsoon season. Civil Surgeon Dr. Satinderjit Singh Bajaj and Epidemiologist Dr. Harjot Kaur are leading teams for anti-larva activities and fogging in hotspot areas. Last year, 69 cases were reported in the district.
