A notorious criminal named Sagar Behera from Ganjam district has been booked under the National Security Act (NSA). Following orders from the Ganjam District Collector, Behera, who has 11 criminal cases including robbery, murder attempts, and illegal sand smuggling registered against him since 2011, was arrested and sent to court.
