குளச்சல் அரசு ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையத்தை இடமாற்றம் செய்யக் கூடாது – மக்கள் நீதி மய்யம் வலியுறுத்தல்
குளச்சல் துறைமுகத் தெரு, சைமன் காலனி சாலையில் அமைந்துள்ள அரசு ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையம் கடந்த 15 ஆண்டுகளாக அப்பகுதி மக்களுக்கு தரமான மற்றும் அத்தியாவசிய மருத்துவ சேவைகளை வழங்கி வருகிறது. குளச்சல், மிடாலம் முதல் புதூர் வரையிலான பல்வேறு பகுதிகளைச் சேர்ந்த பொதுமக்கள், குறிப்பாக முதியோர், கர்ப்பிணிப் பெண்கள், சிறு குழந்தைகள், மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் மற்றும் பொருளாதாரத்தில் பின்தங்கிய மக்கள் என ஆயிரக்கணக்கானோர் இந்த ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையத்தின் சேவையை தினந்தோறும் நம்பியுள்ளனர்.
மேலும், மதம், இனம், சமூக வேறுபாடுகள் இன்றி இந்து, கிறிஸ்தவம், இஸ்லாம் உள்ளிட்ட அனைத்து மதத்தினரும், அனைத்து சமூகத்தினரும் இச்சுகாதார நிலையத்தின் மருத்துவ சேவையை தொடர்ந்து பெற்று வருகின்றனர்.
இந்நிலையில், எந்தவித முன்னறிவிப்பும், பொதுமக்களின் கருத்தும் பெறாமல் இந்த அரசு ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையத்தை வேறு இடத்திற்கு முழுமையாக இடமாற்றம் செய்யும் நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்ளப்படுவதாக தகவல் வெளியாகியுள்ளது. இது அப்பகுதி மக்களிடையே மிகுந்த அதிர்ச்சியையும் கவலையையும் ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
இந்த இடமாற்றம் நடைமுறைக்கு வந்தால், குறிப்பாக முதியோர், கர்ப்பிணிப் பெண்கள், சிறு குழந்தைகள் மற்றும் அவசர மருத்துவ உதவி தேவைப்படும் நோயாளிகள் பெரும் சிரமத்திற்கு ஆளாவார்கள். இதனால் அரசு மருத்துவ சேவையை பொதுமக்கள் எளிதில் அணுக முடியாத நிலை உருவாகும் அபாயம் உள்ளது.
எனவே, பொதுமக்களின் நலனையும், மருத்துவ சேவையின் தொடர்ச்சியையும் கருத்தில் கொண்டு, தற்போது குளச்சல் துறைமுகத் தெரு, சைமன் காலனி சாலையில் செயல்பட்டு வரும் அரசு ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையத்தை இடமாற்றம் செய்யும் முடிவை உடனடியாக கைவிட்டு, அதே இடத்தில் நிரந்தரமாக தொடர்ந்து செயல்பட தேவையான நடவடிக்கைகளை தமிழக அரசு மற்றும் சுகாதாரத் துறை அதிகாரிகள் மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று மக்கள் நீதி மய்யம் சார்பில் வலியுறுத்திக் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறோம்.
