In Tiruvannamalai district, 1,50,544 children under the age of 5 were administered polio drops at 1,945 centers on Sunday. The initiative, organized by the Tamil Nadu Public Health Department, saw camps held in hospitals, schools, and Anganwadis from 7 AM to 5 PM. District Revenue Officer R. Ramaprathipan and Arni MLA Jayasudhalakshmi Kanthan inaugurated the camps.
