Fact Check: Partly False / Misleading The image mixes a real historical event with exaggerated and unsupported claims. What is true: On 7 November 1966, a large protest demanding a nationwide ban on cow slaughter took place near the Indian Parliament in New Delhi. The protest involved many Hindu religious leaders, sadhus, and supporters, and police did open fire after the demonstration turned violent, with clashes, arson, and attempts to breach Parliament security. What is misleading or false: The claim that "nearly one million saints and religious leaders" gathered is not supported by historical records. Contemporary reports estimate the crowd at around 1 lakh (100,000) to 1.2 lakh people, not one million. The implication that the government ordered firing on one million saints is therefore false. Historical records, Parliament debates, and newspaper reports indicate 8 deaths in total (7 protesters and 1 policeman), not hundreds or thousands of deaths as some viral posts claim. Verdict: ✅ A police firing did occur during the 7 November 1966 anti-cow slaughter agitation. ❌ The claims of "nearly one million saints" being present and the suggestion of a mass killing on that scale are unsupported and misleading. P.s: Political parties must stop fake propaganda and start speaking the facts and the truth - especially the BJP and Congress. Going forward, people will support only genuine parties. Those that rely on misinformation will gradually fade away. #Brahmin_Political_Party #பாஜக #🔷காங்கிரஸ் #bjp #📺அரசியல் 360🔴
